So if you stuck in traffic police checking just open your Mparivahan app and show your licen and RC to the officer and leave, but be sure to wear helmet if you're on a Motorcycle** because helmet is necessary for your safety.

Store documents in your smartphone: Yes you can store these documents in your smartphone but not a photograph of the documents you have to store it digitally not a Photograph. According to Motor Vehicle act you can store your Driving License in your Smartphone and it's valid as well as paper documents or physical documents electronically using Digilocker or mParihavan app which is available on the Google Play store
